Connect an AI assistant to Unstuck

Point ChatGPT or Claude at this app so your assistant can help you unload what's in your head and find the next tiny step — right inside the tool you're already using.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Apps → Advanced and turn on Developer mode. Read the risk notice ChatGPT shows there. If it isn't available, ask a ChatGPT admin to turn it on.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. Type a name (something like "Unstuck") and paste the URL above.
  4. Check "I understand and want to continue" — ChatGPT shows that warning for every custom server — then click "Create".
  5. Turn the app on from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to help you get unstuck.

Claude

  1. Open Claude → Connectors → Add custom connector — the name and URL come prefilled.
  2. Look over the details and click "Add".
  3. If nothing was prefilled, open Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it and paste the URL above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to help you get unstuck.

Claude Code

  1. Run this in a terminal:claude mcp add --scope user --transport http unstuck 'https://unstuckapp.app/mcp'
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to check that Unstuck is connected. It will ask you to sign in from that menu.
  3. Ask Claude Code to help you get unstuck.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a new remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it and paste the URL above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorisation prompts.
  5. Turn the connection on, then ask the assistant to use the app.

Refresh after the app changes

If I ship an update, your assistant may still be holding the older version. A quick refresh brings the latest in.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and pick Unstuck.
  2. Scroll to "Information" and click "Refresh".
  3. ChatGPT can't change an existing app's URL — if it changed, delete the app and add it again with the URL above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. Claude can't change an existing connector's URL — if it changed, remove the connector and add it again with the URL above.
  4. Ask Claude to use the app.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest on connect.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove unstuck and run the install command again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you made for Unstuck.
  3. Refresh, reload or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use the app.
